Pollution Toon Complete!!!
It's been a huge trek but the pollution video is finished(there's a sneak peek of it on the left)! Yep, just emailed it to school and putting it on my memory stick for the presentation tomorrow. Wish me luck. Scarborough was great by the way! A long drive there but thankfully I had Locoroco to keep me company ;). Anyway off to bed *yawn*. But first to get rid of this mouldy hot chocolate... nice...

Dan, your time starts... now!
Right, those who know me know I'm not very organised and won't be surprised that I've left myself two days to make a movie :S. You see there's this Space compo at school that me and Dean and two others are entering and I kind of said that I'd make a Flash movie to accompany the presentation... this was 2 weeks ago... the presentation's on monday... I'm in Scarborough all weekend... todays Wednesday... I leave the moment I get out of school on Friday... ah. Well I'm determined now to get the movie finished by tommorrow and present it on monday and as long as I have MSN messenger, a good ol' cuppa' tea and for working late at night my good friend hot chocolate (the only reason I got any movie finsihed) I may just survive to the end. 2 days to make a movie? I can feel the wrist-ache already.

Boggle Hat!
I finally brought the hat I made in DT at school home! Snazzy no? Speaking of which I'm making a short Boggle movie that's more of an animation experiment than a sequel to The Watering Can. It's a music video that's about 35 secs long and the first time I've animated in 30fps (that's frames per second). It's made for a competition called Dance Off on the Animation forums . Whether I enter the movie or not is another story, I'll just post it here as a standalone movie or somthing most likley. Look out for that soon ;D Now I must dash off to revise for my mock SATs... yay... *cough*.

New Address!
Finally the site has a brand new address! www.thejokerinc.co.nr. I think you'll agree it's a bit less of a mouthfull :P This was just after I'd sent a snotty email to co.nr (those of you who know me know I like to moan - especially about seagulls :P) saying that I couldn't recommend their service. But now I can since I found out what the problem was so go to www.freedomain.co.nr or click the link on the "latest stuff" page. For those of you wondering why you can't get a co.nr address and your sure your site is not violating any rules like I was it turns out that you have to get all the questions right on that so called "fun english test". Well if you can call 3 weeks of checking your inbox for emails every night only to be let down because of some quiz that has questions like "Who is Britney Spears?" fun...

I.OU NOTHING!
That's right I.O.U no more pages. The James Blonde section is up and so is the forum. Also the PSP section no longer contains THM's because it's just too much hastle. If you notice in the corner of the room is a picture I took on my mobile phone at the Himley Hall bonfire which was great. Did anyone else go? Anyway I'm busy plotting ideas for the new site design for December and trying to balance that out with revising for mock SATs :S while Dean is off at Ingestry Hall for a week! Typical. But anyway please enroll on the forums and enjoy the now I.O.U free site while I go off to catch the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of here :)

PSP Movies
Can't get enough of the Joker? Well now all you PSP owners out there can have watch The Watering Can and Tubby Custard on the go. At the moment I'm linking to google videos (where both movies are on might i add :P) to download the movie files but because it renames the file annoyingly if you want the THM file (thumbnail of the movie) then you need to rename everything and that can be very annoying. Though the THM files are optional and the movie works just fine if you just download the movie file it looks alot better on your videos menu if you have the THM. So unless anyone can offer me some free webspace then I'm afraid this system will have to do.
For you Flash authors that want to know how come all the movieclips work on a video it's because they're not movieclips they're graphics. Sadly graphics don't support actionscript or (for Flash 8 users) filters unlike movieclips but if you plan to convert your movies to video format at a later stage then avoid using movieclips as much as possible so your not spending all Saturday converting all movieclips to graphics.
